The ending.

Now don't take this as a complaint, or someone whining about the ending, but I distinctly remember someone from Valve (possibly Doug) stating in an interview that the ending would not be your standard boss. It would be down to who was the better scientist. Now I don't know about you, but I don't feel that

hurling energy cores at Breens teleporter

is the most scientific of challenges. I do understand that some things that aren't fun are obviously cut, but I was looking forward to that at the end. All in all, it was still a kickass game though.

Yeah, it almost seemed like there should be a "better" ending, where you are able to

stop breen without causing a massive explosion that kills all of the main characters

to go along with the standard ending. Maybe a more difficult task which would qualify as "being a better scientist". But it doesn't seem that this is the case, sadly.

i liked the ending.. but i wanted valve to clear up some vagunesses whick occupied our minds from HL1, rather than just adding some new vaguenesses to the story.
