The New Weezers out

meh, better than the last two, but doesn't come even close to being as good as the first two. It's basically the same style as Maladroit and the green album, just better.

I've had it for a few weeks now. It gets old really fast.

they're worst album yet - I felt Matt Sharp was really the creative force behind Weezer, not Cuomo; while the Green album and Maladroit are catchy albums, they're nothing compared to the Blue album and especially Pinkerton, they really sound like a spent force on this latest album.

Yeah, there's not one stand out good track on it that I could find either.

if power-pop is your thing, then there are far more important albums than this, primarily Weezer's first two albums if you haven't already jumped on board, also check out stuff from Nada Surf, Phantom Planet, Rilo Kiley, Tegan & Sara (Matt Sharp appears on this album too, on Moog). There are so many better albums out at the minute, i fear this album will just bomb, I couldn't believe when Q Magazine gave this album 4/5 stars, though if you want a good laugh - read the pitchfork review -
