I heard today on google news that there will be a great new biohazard suit for gordon. It looks just like barney, but its oarnge like the old suit.

The suit seen in HL2 does look different to the one in HL. People have speculated that it is a "MK V" HEV instead of Gordon's old "MK IV".

Rofl, the Barney Disguise Mark III Suit, it was hidden in Half Life, and its rumoured it might return, thus this thread is called "The Return".

I've always figured that Eli would be giving us a HEV upgrade early on. I recall a line in one of the binks where Eli makes a comment about "getting (Gordon) out of that hazard suit and into a lab coat." And, since I can't see Gordon finding the New and Improved HEV Mark V sitting around City 17, I suspect that the old Mark IV will get some battle damage repaired and a little software upgrade.
