um, that is speculation, all i ask is one single quote from NBC CBS or ABC nightly news that even slightly sounds as if there is opinion in it.

seinfeld, i will not humor your requests until you present actual fact. If you must drag me off topic, at least do so with more than simple unproven speculation.

He worked with CBS for 28 years. Speculation would occur if he was looking in from the outside, testimony occurs when he is relating the experiences he had. Finally, you refuse to address RatherGate.

1. Liberal agenda owns the major newspapers. Read the NYT, LA Times, the Boston Globe, and others for evidence of that.
First off the bias is in the editorial page. I wouldn't be ok with this if all newspapers were like this but take a look at the Washington Times, New York Post, Wall Street Journal, and Chicago Sun-Times for a conservative bias (again only in editorial page, not the news).

2. Liberal agenda owns the nightly news. Dan Rather speaks for himself on that front.
And Brian Williams speaks for himself on the conservative front.
3. Conservative agenda owns talk radio. Hannity, Rush and others make that quite clear. I think your Rather conclusion is based on one story with the national guard service, if I am mistaken can you give me some other examples?
Agreed. Luckily Air America is doing good so there might be balance there soon.
4. Liberal agenda owns Hollywood (movies). F 9/11, Yes Men, just as examples.
For the most part this is ture. However, remember Mel Gibson, he has a lot of power in Hollywood as a director (The Passion as an example). Also, rarely do you get movies that actually try to push a liberal agenda on you. Moore is pretty much the only real exception.

Rathergate was not dan rather, he reported facts, the facts later turned out to be documents falsefied by 3 CBS employees, the employees were fired, rather apologized, this is an isolated incident.

Again you will not give me a single quote proving your idea that the nightly ABC NBC or CBS news is slanted. It cannot be slanted, or it would not be the news.

ONE SINGLE QUOTE! you can't even find that, your point is stupidity backed up with nothing other than your opinion.

For one, last time:

He worked with CBS for 28 years. Slanting the news doesnt always involve direct quotes, dont you understand that?

Here is some anyways:

Peter Jennings after the 1994 midterm elections in which the Republicans gained control of Congress

“Some thoughts on those angry voters. Ask parents of any two-year-old and they can tell you about those temper tantrums: the stomping feet, the rolling eyes, the screaming. It’s clear that the anger controls the child and not the other way around. It’s the job of the parent to teach the child to control the anger and channel it in a positive way. Imagine a nation full of uncontrolled two-year-old rage. The voters had a temper tantrum last week....Parenting and governing don’t have to be dirty words: the nation can’t be run by an angry two-year-old.”

More:

“The President’s tax cut is beginning to show up. Will three extra dollars stimulate the national economy?”

That is clearly not news, it is a biased jab.

The first quote is NOT from the nightly news. The second one is opinion, you are right I am sorry, though it was funny, and that was its intent, I watched the video, you have to take it in context. Thanks for one quote though, from one man, on one occassion, on one news channel, clearly that is solid proof of a liberal media, im sorry i doubted you.

Now that that is settled either get back to the topic, or get out.

Again, you are missing the point. Sometimes it isnt what people say, but more along the lines of what they dont say. Again, Mr. Goldberg was at CBS for 28 years, I'm sure he has a better idea of what is going on than you do. And before anyone cries "Hes a conservative! Hes a conservative!", read some of his stances.

As I pointed out, there is a conservative bias as there is a liberal bias; there is nothing you can do to change that as all people have their opinions.
