Editted for truth. Spamming earns you no respect purely a reputation of dislike. The more informative, interesting, clever and funny posts you do will earn you many more points than a high post count could ever do. Bvagsm is a key example, used to spam like mad, then he became a regular, and posts (rarely) but when he's a lovely chap. So take that to heart, because we all want to be loved

On a more serious note, spamming is not something to be proud of. A reputation as a spammer just means you're annoying, so it might be wise to stop trying to make yourself out as one, lightly or not.
