third person?

I think i read some where in another thread that there is supposed to be some sort of supported third person mode in Episode one... or something like that... does this mean they will finally make a modle for Gordon?

You could always play in thirdperson, by typing thirdperson in the console. However there is no Gordon model, only his hands/the gun your holding.

Not really. Chances are you won't play as Gordon.

As I understood it, Valve discussed the possibilty of experimentation on the fourth episode, the episode that is supposed to be made by a third party.

He is just like the grunt with the gas mask. Onely he stands with his back completely straight.

That's cause Shephard is a straight up bad ass. He doesn't use cover or crouch. And he ain't 'fraid of no scientists. Especially those in HEV suits.

Anyway, there definitely won't be any third person. Valve thinks it will "destroy the immersion of you as Gordon Freeman!" Trust me Valve, it wouldn't be the first thing to destroy immersion.

A gordon model has been made, just not released yet. It is supposed to be a part of sven coop 2 or something. look on the sven coop website for it, im not looking thru the archives for 30 mins.

they might make a model of gordon, but its highly unlikley that they would say you are NOT gordon!
