This Is Freaky !!! (validating Hl2 Files)

I was looking into how i could validate my hl2 files at thsi forum and on steampowered and for some bizare reason its did it all by itself!

Is there any plausable explanation for this ?

Yeah sometimes when you load up the game it validates the files prior to playing. It seems to be random, maybe steam recognises a problem. Could have been a co-incidence. Anyway saved you a few seconds i guess.
