This Vortal Coil vs. The Temple of the Spider

So, which one is better, This Vortal Coil from Episode Two or The Temple of the Spider from Dark Messiah of Might and Magic?

They are both made in Source engine, and are large tunnels.

I think Dark Messiah's Spider caves were better than Ep2 Antlion hives, because they had those cool spiders and webs. The spiders were quite similar to poison headcrabs, but there was also giant spiders too.

Both caves are similar, they have webs and stuff like that, and a big boss.

I wasn't very surprised of the Antlion caves when I played Ep2, because they were so much similar to what Dark Messiah did. The whole theme was similar, you just had antlions instead of spiders. Alot of webs, and the same way, first comes the small guys, then a giant version of them as boss.

Hey thats a good thread idea.

I loved beating the shit out of the spiders when you found that not-so powerful axe by a dead orc. But the big spider is found much later in the game.

Shotgunning antlions were pretty much the same thing, except the damage was dealt from far away.

Man I need to reinstall that game.

Dark Messiah was prettier, but DAMN are those spiders annoying!

No, it was developed by two other developers. I know one of them was Arkane Studios.

Im pretty sure valve helped out on DM, but not completely dedicated too it. Speeking of arkane, what the hell happened to the crossing o.0?
