Get out your old Battlefield 2 gear, and get ready to rock. It's time to reinstall BF2 or just get it running again. We are going to go server raiding!!! I vote next weekend starting Saturday we do a big BF2athon. And if most people don't have time next weekend...well, we'll do it the weekend after that. Hell, I've been itching to get some more ass kicking in that game.

I felt like I'm missing BF2 last weekend, it's been such a long time. I'd be up for a reunion gathering. How big is the game once installed & patched, does anyone remember? I know it's a pretty nasty assault on the hard drive.

Once you get used to the spawn times, you will shudder at the thought of launching the vanilla game ever again.

Some servers even have the spawntimes reduced.

But I agree that PRM>Vanilla.

I tried playing PRM..but I was disappointed, I think. Though it wasn't an actual game I played, there were only 2 servers up. One was full, the other had 2 people. So I never got to play an actual game. But the feel for it was odd...and someone said you have to have the crew kit to get in a tank? I don't know. I guess I'll have to find a full server before I fully judge.

But I still have loads of fun on vanilla! Played with TCfromBN, had a load of fun.

Yeah, got the latest installer....I guess everybody else was..laggy? No..I don't know. The filename I downloaded for PRM is pr_0506_setup.exe

The one thing I hate with PR Mod is the helicopters...they're waaaay too fast and responsive, which does NOT feel 'realistic.'
