To those with preorders for the collectors edition!

Are you going to cancel and just purchase the gold package on steam. I mean it is only 10 dollars more and you get so much more.

I honestly feel bad that the game has a lack of real multiplayer. I hated CS since the begining and I hate it now.

DOOM III was a waste of my money and I admit that, I don't want Halflife 2 to be the same thing.

This game will definitly be a "try" before you buy if you know what I mean. :cheese:

I will follow the progress of news, but until I think this out even more I will still keep my preorder at gamestop.com.

With overnight shipping its 99.46, so I would be doing myself a favor getting it off steam. My internet connection is 10/1 so you know I'm kicking it in the high life.

PS: I was a lurker here for about a year, but now with the game so close to launch I would figure I would make an account.

Listen I always try before I buy. DOOM III I was caught in the hype and ended up spending $55 on something I could have gotten in 45 minutes from you know where.

Halflife2 as a single player game is fantastic, but lack of multiplayer is horrible. And yes I consider Counter Strike not a form of multiplayer, it is garbadge.

I'm thinking about it, but last time I canceled a pre-order at EB, it took more than a week before the cancellation came through.
