toggle crouch

Hi,

I've been trying to toggle crouch in HL2: EP2 for just about the last hour or so... I've tried all the autoexec.cfg commands I could find listed here, and none of them seem to work. The last I tried is:

alias "+duck_toggle" "+duck"
alias "-duck_toggle" "-duck"
bind "ctrl" "+duck_toggle"

If you guys could give me any help I would be greatly appreciative!

I'm too lazy to do the research myself, but perhaps you could try using an external keyboard software of sorts?

You want bindtoggle or whatever it's called. Bind is a executed once command, where as the bindtoggle is on and off.

Really, I didn't even know that you could do that! I never thought that i didn't didn't need to hold down F to use the flashlight, it just worked. It'll be cool to know how to toggle stuff.
