Too much hype!

There was WAAAYYY too much hype leading up to the release of Oblivion. I know that hype is my worst enemy since it ruined games like WoW, which is an amazing game, but because of the hype it seemed really boring or just not as good as expected. I just hope that hype didn't ruin Oblivion for me... I HAVE been trying to keep away from all of it btw.

What company isnt going to show off their product at the top level of quality?

1st gen Radeon 9700 pro <-- i really need a new videocard

Oblivion has to run on Medium quality, and it still looks teh sechs. I hardly get any framerate slowdown. The hype didn't even phase me. I was hooked the first 20 minutes of the game, and all I was doing was killing giant rats.

It's like Morrowind but more of a living world which makes it way more immersive (for me at least).

Only a crash after 5 straight hours of play ripped me back to reality realizing It's 2:30am.

Most uncool? I bet the game wouldn't feel so good with Morrowind graphics.

this is kinda worrying. I've seen several posts on other forums saying the game is prone to crashing. Morrowind also crashes for no reason after a few hours. Is this a Bethesda thing or peoples rigs do you think?

I'm kinda worried I'll be dissappointed by it but I think my PC(2.5 Ghz P4, 512MB of RAM, 9800Pro 128MB) will run it alot worse than the 360..
