I am new to the modding scene. I was trying to add a hud element by following this tutorial. http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Basic_Hud_Modification.
Everything went great until i ran the map. i can't get my graphic to appear. All i get is a small piece of my graphic to appear in the upper left screen. i tried using cl_animationinfo and it says my hud element is 64 by 24 when it is supposed to be 128 by 128. No matter what i change in the hudlayout.res it doesn't work. I think the problem might be with hudlayout.res because i could not move the ammo counter by changing the position in this file. any help would be appreciated. I have been at this for 2 days.
