Trouble connecting to Steam

On four out of five days that I try to connect to Steam, I get this message:

Sometimes I can gain access a few hours later, sometimes not. This has been going on for a few weeks.

Any ideas?

I checked my firewall, and it's not blocking Steam.

Perhaps try running the program as administrator?

Also have you tried googling it? And the Steam forums might be better suited to find a solution.

And you didn't put a direct link to the image when you tried embedding.

Notice direct links end in .jpg, they link directly to the image. The URL you used to embed is only a page containing the image.

It embeds perfectly fine in my browser, and as far as I can recall, I did link to the direct image.
