Two Worlds

I played the demo for a bit earlier, it's a lot like oblivion, except it's going to be multiplayer. Instanced like Guild Wars from what I hear.

Looks really good, but if it's multiplayer I'm not going to try the demo.

Demo is singleplayer I think. Im downloading it now. Sounds pretty cool, but I went into their forums, and it seems like the control setup is a mess.

I've made a thread before but it died really fast. Thats what you get for talking about a game with no hype I guess :p I downloaded the demo today and played for a bit. I was just exploring and testing out the combat. The world is huge, even in the demo you get to explore a large area. Combat isn't too great so far. The camera and controls makes it tough sometimes. In melee I have to reposition myself alot then start hacking away. Archery seems to be most annoying. You can't move and shoot arrows, and every time you want to fire it zooms in. Same with magic, you need to stand still. There are plenty of enemies to fight. Lots of wildlife and camps with orcs and bandits etc. Graphics are nice, but not as pretty as Oblivion.

Im about to play now, but I just had to come in and say that I lol'd at the music that played during the setup. Electric guitar solos + fantasy rpg = lulz

Wait till you hear the main menu music.

Personally, I think it's epic.

The demo has been pretty fun so far. I'll definitely be picking up the 360 version.

It reminded me A LOT of Gothic III. Not too sure how I feel about that. Combat is pretty lame from what I played.

Combat was a bit strange indeed. Interesting game none the less.

*Fine I'll post in this thread instead*

I really liked the music. Graphics were decent, but dont put HDR all the way up unless you want the screen to explode like a fireball everytime you look into the sky.

Gothic 3-ish combat was disheartening, and why are there so many wolves for christ sake???
