uninstalling hl2 will i get it back?

im not sure if this is the right place to post this so tell me if im in the wrong forum
ok i got hl2 off steam and i want to move hl2 and css off of this computer and put it on another computer and i wantd to know if i have to move it all or if i can just delete it and redownload it on my new computer?

I think you delete the folders to uninstall but leave the .GCFs or you'll need to preload all over again, then if you want to play again, just click on the HL2 icon under My Games list.

You can redownload it on your new computer, no deleting of any files nessarey. Just log in with your steam account and click on the half life 2 account and it will automatically download.

i had to do a system restore to the day before i installed H:2 and the steam software - will i have any problems when i try to install it again?
