It has come to Team Raptor’s attention that there is quite a distance to go when it comes to completing the entire concept due to a lack of staff members. However, because the team hates making their loyal fans wait, they plan on releasing a series of mini-betas soon. Meanwhile, in an attempt to reach the final point in the project team raptor is searching for experienced coders because they are needed the most!

As for the first mini-beta, it must be noted that it WILL NOT be the full game, but a taste of what's to come. It will most likely include the deathmatch mode and, possibly, the team battle aspect. Basically, an all-out multiplayer war. After a small release, the team plans on releasing upgrades over time, as the community grows and the game improves.

Interesting release strategy, just wondering what you plan to do when your community starts playing 'this' version of the released beta and suddenly starts giving you improvement suggestions, balance issues or just bugs. Will you continue to work to improve that beta knowing your actual gameplay will differ significantly from your eventual game goal or will you toss those ideas/bugs aside and continue working towards the eventual goal??

Not trying to be a pain or anything just legitimately interested in your plans.

Funny you should ask. We plan on having a bug feedback system. We thrive on making our fans happy so all suggestions are welcome in improving the game play.. Of cause we will use common sence out of all the feed back we get, implementing stuff from the fans that will work towards our goals. If the suggestions differ significantly they must of been one heck of a suggestion. :afro:

I get what you are saying, but what happens when there is a balance request that would make the current game much better (the beta) but doesn't meet your long-term goals, what happens then?

Well you see we work as a team. Everyone is working to reach a current goal. If there were to be a mayor request that could make the game better but differ in long term we would start a poll and agree on that request showing the Pros and Cons. So the answer is yes we would change something in the mod to make it better if it doesn’t meet the long term goal… that’s where our imagination comes along to make a new one, (unfortunately people lack that now a days, but we don’t).
