upgrading from bronze to silver

i'm curious, but i'm not that curious. i was wondering do i have to pay $60 bucks just to get the silver package of half life 2 even when i already have bronze? How does this work? please explain

The price of the bronze is deducted from the price of silver if you are upgrading.

So normal price of Silver is 59.95, if you already purchased Bronze it becomes 59.95-49.95= $10+Tax to upgrade to Silver.

However, the option of upgrading is not yet avalible. But I'm sure it'll be after the HL2-hype has been toned down.

im afraid i have tried to upgrade from retail version (hl2 on cd) to the silver version and it will charge u the full amount
i have loaded my card details in and it would cost me 55 dollars + vat
i think valva have screwed up
surely they must have realised ppl would want to upgrade from there retail version for the difference in cost
