this is funny to me because a year ago, i was going to 7-11, buying $25 visa gift cards, then putting money on new accounts to buy more item farming accounts for TF2.

and now i can just buy steam cards and do the same thing. i can buy 1 key on 1 account then buy 4-5 premium gifts with a steam card and VIOLA!

its like valve is making products just for me!

7-11 is new, but you could buy them at BestBuy a while back.

aye, the big thing i realized about valve putting cards into 7-11 is that people who generally go to 7-11 probably dont know what steam is, so it tells me valve is looking to pull even more new people into steam.

best buy is a huge consumer electronics chain, so its natural for their customer base to atleast know the valve brand name before they even walk in the store.

but based off the people i regularly see at my local 7-11, i doubt the majority of them even know who valve is, as sad as that is.

Could be Valve thinks Best Buy is going to go out of business (a lot of people are predicting that) and want uninterrupted supply available to their customers. Also I'm pretty sure there's more 7-11s around than Best Buys, so its probably expanding their availability to those who need to drive far to get to a Best Buy.

aye, there are 3 or 4 7-11's within 5 minutes from my house.

theres 1 best buy within 20 minutes to my house and its in the middle of a massive shopping center that is next to 2 malls. i never want to go near it.

I imagine if they every actually release that console thing they'll want to make Steam as much as a household name as Playstation and Xbox.

I live in Macedonia,so i don't know what bestbuy or 7-11 is...(i do,but none of them are at my country)

So cool and all,but valve need to expand a lot with these gift cards into countries that don't have the best payment service as far as banks are in question, they can make a killing with these things...
