Very quick question about 9600 and 9500 pros

Which one is better? Naturally, i would think the 9600 pro would be better and improved from the 9500 pro, but I've been hearing people say that the 9500 was better. So, for anyone that knows a lot about these things, can you please help?!?!

The 9500 does perform better then the 9600 pro. The 9500pro was basically a toned down 9700 pro. The 9500 pro has 8 rendering pipelines vs. the 9600 pros 4 pipelines. Also, people that had the 9500 non-pro, that was red, and L-memory, could softmod it into a 9700 pro. The 9600 is highly overclockable and isnt a bad card, just not as great as the 9500 pro.
