Videocard 4x Agp ????

I have a question.... I currently have a 4x agp system with a 9800 pro, 2.8ghz P4 1gig Rambus(t) Ram. Id like to upgrade to a X800 Pro but will I stop seeing a big performance increase because of my 4x Agp slot.

In other words will there be a noticible difference in performance? Big Bottleneck? Thanks

if you get a x800 get a new mobo with 8x for aound $60-80

Although, there is very little differnece between 4X and 8X AGP - at least in today's cards. If anything, your CPU will bottleneck that X800.

Yup, you won't suffer anything more than 5fps differance because of your 4x agp mobo.

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone think that Ill get a pretty noticible performance increase between 9800pro and X800 pro.
Should I bother buying the better card. I want HL2 in Most/All its glory
Ive done some research on the subject but I want some real world gamers perspectives.

A x800 should give you better performance but overall they both work of Dx9 so you will see the same stuff but the X800 you will get more FPS.
