I must have pushed a no-no button ro changed something bad, because my viewpoint is kind of messed up. In the User viewport (not the Camera viewport), I try to circle around my object, but the object clipping is set really high. So anything that should be very near the camera is cut off. I'll post a screenie for you.

There you go. The arrow points the magazine well that should be drawn out and shown, but it's cut off to reveal the inside.

What setting do I change to set the clipping to close to nil?

sorry i was banned. nice model btw great detail. have you tryed reseting the view i.e R and then A beware this may unlock your reference pics. if it resizes your reference pics just hit R again and lock.

Nope, didn't know I could do that. Thanks, crackhead.

By the way, I'm making this model for a portfolio purposes, and I'm trying to be as detailed as possible. Heh, I think quite a few games would drop some frames per second if the computer had to render an estimated 7000-10000 polygons for one gun. It has a quad-picatinney rail on the front, and I plan on modeling each little bump. I can post more pictures up if you like to see them.

Here you go. I think they're sweet. Heh, note the poly count in the upper left corner. Yeah... it's kinda high. But It's okay.

nice glad to see your working on portfolio stuffage. so did what i said work.

No contribution? You've helped me out so many times I can't even count them all.

Yeah, what you said worked. Thanks for the tip.

I have to apply to the Integrated Studio Arts program which includes computer animation, so I have to have a portfolio of work I've done. There is a section in which I can put whatever I want to. I figure stuff like this will get me in, or at least thought about more. I'm also using this to show my talent to a possible internship to a game design company. So this is almost more important than schoolwork. It's a good feeling to know that what I do for fun is important to other people.

Thanks again crackhead.

Can you post slightly resized pictures or links next time? Most people don't run at that resolution, and it's a pain being forced to scroll sideways.

Oh, sure. I'm sorry. My laptop's widescreen, and I forget most people use desktops. I'll be sure to remember to do that next time.
