ok i know, wanted! for hl wasnt the best game out there, but it was great for some old western fun. it was the game that was like "oh i gotta go in 10 minutes, im gonna play wanted"...now i cant play my beloved game because it dosent work on steam. i guess i jsut wanted to know if anyone shares my love for this timeless classic? and soemone should def make it for source

I don't know what this thread is about...but if you're talking about how good the original Half-Life is, I agree. It's probably my favourite game of all time.

yea i remember it

played it for a bit but kept getin killed so i quit and carried on with DOD (now theres a good mod)

didnt know it wasnt available on steam like, im surprised at that

Wanted! was insanely long to my mind- If I recall correctly, I found it repetetive to the point that I was desperate to end it- the mines levels just went on and on. Had some interesting features, but overall I was glad when I finished it.

I remember so many old HL mods. Like the ones you used to get with the PC Gamer/PCZone demo discs when my computer was only a 120mhz.

The good old days, the pre-CS days, the days when people had imagination and barely any standards to meet.

I remember Drug Barons, and later USS Darkstar and Edge of Darkness and Peaces Like Us and Todesangst... back when mods were made with barely anything except the original content, yet to great effect. In fact, I don't think Barons contained anything new...

That's not to say younger mods like Sweet Half-Life or Poke646 or Todesangst 2 or anything else are bad mods, mind. I'm especially fond of SHL.
