Why is it that it's almost always rainy for me?

And it's just during the day too. Nightime tends to be fairly clear. But I almost never get clear skies during the day. Or it'll be nice in the morning, then right after, it'll start raining.

It's really annoying. I notice it mostly in the Imperial City. The other places, not so much.

Actually, other cities tend to be foggy.

WHY CAN'T I GET A NICE CLEAR SKY???

Oh and BTW, I noticed that the whole shitty sky tends to be only in the cities. The wilderness tends to be fairly nice.

You can edit the weather with your Oblivion.ini

I don't have to tell you how to do that or what to change, because it should be self explanatory. Look for something called weather or precipitation or rain and change the value.

Ok.

I now ask, does anybody else see this problem in the game?

It might just be me not noticing the nice days.

But I mean, every time I sleep till maybe early morning, i'm greeted by a rainy day :(

Sometimes I get shitty weather and it clears up after a while (few days). I'll look into the CS, might be some sort of season thing.

Hmm. I don't know.

For me, it didn't rain until I was like level 17 and it never rains much.

I miss the booming thunder from Morrowind. It sounded awesome on my system. I would add that sound to Oblivion if it was legal. (Well I can still do it for my own use - when I get around to it)

Generally my game is beaaautiful.

I get a mixed bag, but id say that my days are clear 65% of the time, rainy about 20% and the other 15% is foggy. I think it depends mostly on the season.

I get a nice mix. I never fast travel and I'm rebelling against the levelling system so I'm not really sleeping, so I get to see the weather all round the clock. I get a healthy mix of rain, sunshine, and rarely fog.

It depends on the month. There are actual rainy seasons in the game. The worst months for rain are definately Frozen something and the one after it Morning Sun.

:O

That's REALLY REALLY cool!

I've been getting clear blue skies lately. Must be summer :D

Oh, and I think Morning Sun is their way of saying it's the "morning". There's also an "evening sun".

I'm pretty sure they're months.

Then why do they seem to change on the hour?

Wait... Oblivion has pretty short days.

Bet that's it.
