What about the third test ?

I wished when CS S will be released we will have some new hints about the third test .... or to countinue the strange hl2.php thing .

Valve stated that the PHP thing was not the third test. As far as I know, there was not confirmation of the second test. Just a neat prize at the end.

I think the PHP thing died out.

That was what sparked it all off, so it was confirmed from the start.

The HL2.php will return "when the time is right",.

The only question is, when will that be? It wasn't the release of CS:S. So will it be the gold announcement, or HL'2 release?

Yes. What I meant to say was that there was no confirmation that the picture was the end of the test. Many people were viewing the picture in Notepad to try and find the next clue. Some were zooming in with Photoshop and appliying filters to try and find the next clue.

And yet they found nothing of value. I'm pretty sure it's safe to conclude that the concept art was the end of the test. People just couldn't accept that they spent hours and hours over-analysing pointless little things, drawing up conclusions, only for it to be right under their noses the whole time.

Well, when it comes to all things HL, nothing is clear. Many of the HL fans need an absolute yes/no answer from the official source in order to accept it.

I'm not going to check the third test. I may check it out when the thing is back up, but for now it's a waste of time. There are plenty of people who are probalby checking it out.
