Are we waiting for the final few megs or will there be a preload 7?

it doesnt really matter cause hl2 is coming out on the 16th ... anything released on steam before is useless until then ...

Yep, doesn't really matter. There might be another preload on release date with some game files that are missing now (if they are). But certainly nothing big - either nothing at all or just a few megabytes before your game gets activated.
