What does "head for the horse" mean? Follow Freeman

I just killed my third set of spiders in 'Follow Freeman' and a rocket totting soldier says "Head for the Horse"? I have run around that lvl and cant figure out what to do. Anyone give some help here?

There's a statue of a horse somewhere... you can spot it from a rooftop.

and thats where you need to go: thus; head for the horse.

From the top of the ruined buildings (where the case of rockets was that you were using against the striders) there's some girders thatyou have to walk across and drop down to the street below.
