What does plugging in the power socket in the Nova Prospekt map do? I did it a few times, but couldn't quite figure out the effect.

There is a fan if you open one of the ducts. The fan will turn on by the plug.

Yep, there is a health pack in the duct room so I figure it can moosh people.

I just use it to kill people.

If it turns on the fan, it really doesn't matter, because there's no reason to go beyond the fan, anyway, everything in there is easily accessed. Especially the RPG

Best to jam a spade or wooden plank in the fan so it cant smoosh you

Thats so annoying. Id just gotten the RPG, was on my out, when that CrazyHarij plaugged in the fan.

yeah, if you're anywhere in that room with the rocket launcher and somebody turns on the fan... you're dead.

One player came into the server I was in and asked me where the rocket launcher was after i got about 6 kills with it, and I told him to follow me.. I said.. just go into that vent right here and keep goin.. as he was a gullible person he went it, and said "Oh Cool!" and during that same message i heard a yelp as I had turned on the fan and told him "Woah That never happened before!" :angel:

it's too easy to avoid
I like the jamming, but you can just hug the wall and not hit the fan
also, the plug breaks sometimes

would rule to get kills from it
