what graphics card should i buy

ive been out of the scene for a while if anyone cantell me what is one of the best graphics cards i can get at this moment for gamming i would appreciate it... my cpu came with an integrated graphics card and it lags the hell outta HL2

i have an geforce fx5700ve and a sempron 3000+ 512 ram.. i know its pants, bt is it so bad that it should be making only 10 -15 fps even on low gfx?

I can pull over 200 in some areas with everything high on Dx9, so yeah thats horrible.(Vsync Disabled obviously).

He obviously has AGP, so a 6600 would do nicely.

Get a 6600GT or an X800GT, both a pretty good for their price.

from ati it would be the x800-series or the x850-series...the best cards from ati at the moment, not that expensive
