What happened to the 'Cat'?

In HL2, Kleiner talks about a cat that screwed up during the portal experiment. Alyx is all like, 'what cat?'.
So, that one newb's post about HL myths made me make this thread.

I think it exploded.

They were talking about my cat. Because before HL2 was made the writers of the game were chillin' at my place and saw my cat and said "awww, let's put him in the game". And my cat moved away.. that's what happened.

Yup. Though it was reconfigured so at least its vocal tract was somewhat intact, so it made a horrible spluttering Miaow that haunts Barney to this day.

I actually grew up watching several BritComs on PBS back in the day. Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served, The Vicar of Dibley (my mom is a preacher lol)...but My fave was always Red Dwarf!

Cat: They added a teleporter to the equation in the Quantum Cat Box experiment. (CBA to try and spell his name). Thus, they teleported the cat out of the box, without opening the box. They then promptly ended up with the fron half of a cat.
