Some momory, gfx and CPU upgrade Questions
Hi all Im probably going to get some more pieces of memory as my slow old 512mb of mem are getting old for newer stuff. So, I ran Sisoftware Sandra and got a system summary to figure out what kind of mem I got. It says if have 512mb of rdram and then says for spped that its 2x 399mhz (798 mhz data rate). Basically to keep things safe I might just want to get the ame kind of memory.
But when I saw the 2x thing I was wondering if that ment I have 2 256 mb sticks, in which case Id probably need to get rid of one to add more. Any help would be appreciated! Thx
Edit I also ran another test and it says i have 4 memory slows so I wont have to remove any pieces...
2nd Edit: It also states that my processors maxz supported speed is 3.06 ghz (mines running at 2.53) does that mean i can overclock to 2.06ghz w/ the proper cooling?
3rd Edit: It says my AGP card is in sue (obviously, my gfx card) and that I have 4 PCI slots. Then I can get a PCI card, right?
