What Source mods are coming out soon? Natural Selection?

I would love for them to make Natural Selection: Source. I will be playing DoD (anyone know when thats coming out?) but are any other mods coming out for Source in the near future?

Oh and scoutzknivez: Source would be awesome.

I don't think there will be a 'Natural-Selection: Source" I think they are making a whole new Natural-Selection 2 which if I can remember rightly will be a retail game (Or at least thats what I gather from the broken web of news I pick up from their forums )

DoD:Source doesnt have a release date yet. Like Blinky said, modDB is the best place for mods

Scoutzknives? I thought that was just a Counter-STrike map :? I run it on my Counter-Strike: Source joint server if you want to play

why would NS go retail?
it doesn't make sense to go retail unless it has popularity similar to DOD, CS or TFC and last i checked it wasn't that popular..

hmm..things have changed in the NS community?

They're not thinking of taking the current NS and going retail, they've just decided that the next game they make will be a full retail one. The dev team just about ran out of money a while back, and if wasn't for the contributions of the constellation members, the NS dev team would have gone bankrupt and stopped work on the mod almost a year ago. This game will most likely be Natural Selection 2, but apparently it will be quite different from NS.

As they say on their website, NS was first contact, NS2 will be the war. Sounds like they've got some pretty big plans. And they've also said a while back they were looking at more engines than just source to make NS2 on, so there isn't even any guaruntee that NS2 will be appearing on steam at all. Hopefully though now that HL2 is out, they'll see just how good the engine is and stick with it
