What will be played in HL2:beta

Ok, i search everwhere and anywhere to figure out what will be played in HL2:beta. What i am talking about is will it be a multiplayer map or a single player map. If any one can help me out here ( and prolbly others ) and telling what will be played that will be great.


Ohh and will hl2 preload like CS:S, preload then wait awhile then play, or preload then play right away. Kinda confused.

There is no Half-Life 2 beta. It's just a preload of static files to lessen the bandwith of steam when HL2 gets released.

Are you 10? Or is English just not your first language. I don't think they have a HL2 preview, beta, or demo planned. If they do, it will come out after HL2.

First off, there isn't a public HL2 beta.

Secondly, HL2 preload is just preloading sounds, models, and textures. Things that won't change by release. So, the preload tonight won't be a playable version of HL2.

There is no HL2:Beta or anything.
There are two things:
1- CS:Source Beta available to certain groups of people only. It already started.
2- HL2 Preload: it's not a beta, it's just a Pre-Load .. letting people start downloading it from now so that when it's avaiable they can buy it thru steam, unlock it and play right away without delay.
