Where do you think HL3 will take place?

I think it will take place on the combine homeworld which you see mirrored partially at the end of HL2.

I'm hoping we still get to see more of earth...Its not like we've seen much of it in the games really. I'd like a visit to another planet as well though. However, wouldn't it be difficult for Gordon to go to the combine homeworld, since its in another universe and apparently not habitable by humans...Ok, so he has his HEV but I don't think that was the idea.

I have no idea where it'll be, but I'd love to see it set in like, Hong Kong or something. I love the look of that place (think Shenmu) with all the buildings with bits jutting out and the washinglines running between them.

iI have a odd feeling that half life 3 will involve jumping another twenty or so years into the future, then jump back to city 17 HL2 time, then black to back mesa HL1 time, and then off to the combine (post HL/pre HL2) to prevent the invasion of Earth.
Come to think about it, I hope this don’t happen because it sounds too easy and predictable, not very half-life sounding is it.
