Where does hl:Redemption go in the storyline?

In Redemption you talk to the g-man face to face while he gives you a errand to run for him. did he and freeman discuss the situation the world was in at that time or what may happen in the next decade? Or did he just keep his mouth shut,do the job,and get frozen again for 10 years without knowing what the hell was going on?
And do YOU think g-man is gordon from the future? :smoking:

Valve didn't make Redemption. It's a mod.
