Barney has journeyed into the woods for some quiet reflection time after the Street War. The object of this is that he can silence the chattering voice of his spirit, and focus on becoming mute, thus making himself available for a staring role in an Apple Box bundle in.

Breen was squashed by a falling rebel.

Barney owes me too many beers to die.

He'll be back. Ep 2's storyline had few provisions to work Barney in, save for an appearance at White Forest. I doubt his train was headed there. Perhaps we'll see him in the Great White North, where we'll need every ally we can get

No doubt we'll get an armada of barney's in their classic Security Guard outfit all shooting at headcrabs;

I doubt he will be in Episode three. I really cannot see how he could posibly be in it, anywhere.

It's quite obvious isn't it... He parked the train at the place most convenient to a decent pub, bought a beer and having not drunk one for the best part of twenty years his immune system found it a l'il hard to deal with and so having continued his journey down the tracks... He was pulled over and arrested by metrocops for driving under the influence.
