Where to preorder?

OK, my area is rediculous...

quite literally, every game that has come out reaches my area no less then a week after it's available everywhere else in the world.

So, I'm wondering where is the best place to preorder HL2 (Regular edition) and be able to have it shipped to my door in a timely manner?

Preorder it through steam, that way u dont have to wait for ur stores to get it a week later, u will have it the minute it is released....

if you have a decent connection then you can buy it through steam, you will literally download it to your hard drive, but you won't get any hard copy.

but from the description of your area, I kinda doubt you have anything above 56k?

wait, how come it says i get the collectors editon box with my order of the gold editon of steam, so what do they give me a empty box? theres a CD of hl2 in it, but i just have the option of preloading it so i can play it asap.
