where's the gore?

Is there anyway to enable bullet holes, ny game doesn't want to show them, I get the traditional blood spatter on the wall behind FX, but no actual bullet holes.

can some one tell me the command to enable the gore?

(edit) i mean bullet holes on enemies, not walls

Are bullet holes in people/monsters really modeled?

I've not really looked over the Combine troops, but I noticed a headcrab getting splatters on its body as I shot it with my pistol.
