Which Blade Runner format?

Well my dad and I are have two views on what version we should get the new BR format on. We are going to get the super collectors edition but I say Blu-Ray while he says HD-DVD. We still have to get the player and have to look around for that as well. So what should we get? Both versions are $70 btw on amazon.

Tbh I see more advertising for blu-ray and more types of that format in stores. Blockbuster only let's you rent out blu-ray discs too in their stores for HD stuff.

Yeah, Blu-Ray is winning mainly because Sony own most of the movie market already. I'll be picking it up on Blu-Ray. Will there only be one version for the blu-ray? Or will you get to choose like the DVD version?

There is but if your really crazy for BR then you don't want the DVD version.
