im on 1280 x 1024.

This thread reminds me that I can't wait to get the 24" widescreen inch im saving for.

because all i have is a shitty integrated one i have to go 640x480

I just made the move to 800x600 for games a couple months ago, and I gotta say the games look great compared to 640x480. You don't know what your missing. :E

Widescreen: 1440x900. Bit of an odd one to find wallpapers for.

1920x1200, 24". Got it a few weeks ago with my new PC, very pleased.

Also according to the Steam hardware survey.

Wow, I'm surprised 1600x1200 is uncommon now.

I'm afraid to move from my CRT, I love being able to support whatever resolution I need. Some of these LCDs have strange aspect ratios that will severely cripple gaming.

Almost all current generation games have Widescreen support, and those that don't just stretch to fill the horizontal, which is noticable but it's too terrible.

I mean, I play Diablo 2 with Widescreen and it looks great.

Isn't there something that lets you play with black bars on the sides to maintain aspect? I would think video drivers should have that feature.

I'm with the 8% of 1680 x 1050 ppl, on my 20.1" widescreen tft.

I'd be using 1600x1200, but I can only get 60Hz at that resolution.

Ahhh, my eyes!! ze googles. zey do nothing.

I feel the same way. Thats why I have never used LCD monitors or TV's.

1920 x 1200 dell 2407fpw

Its the best investment i ever made. such a nice screen and hada 4 year warranty with it :D

I'm probably not the only one flabbergasted that the highest resolution mentioned is 1280x768 and that you include 640x480. Everything I play is 1920x1200 unless it's not supported.

1240*1024

/me feels sorry for the poor thing with 640*480.

I still play Diablo 2 in 640 x 480, because I don't have the expansion so that's the only available resolution

I dont know but it should be very high cuz I see my hand and I see a lot of detail and like whit a lot of antialiasing and such

cuz thats the point of the questiong right?what resolution are I in?

I play CS 1.6 and CS:S at 800x600. Everything else at 1024x768. And tbh it really is enough for my eyes.
