Why can't I save avatars directly

Whenever I try and open an avatar from these forums, it says the file is corrupt or there's no correct module for opening it up. It's a simple .jpg and I find this problem very annoying. I have to freaking take a printscreen and select it out, which is bad for quality. Help plz

because that baby icon of urs has corrupted ur system. it does not want to be replaced. put the baby back! yeah anyways....why is ur icon a baby? i always found it weird.
