Doing that would only deprive her of test subjects until she thinks of making ATLAS and P-body.

She was done with her at that point. And when you don't need something..

She had already began designing ATLAS and P-Body by the end of Portal 1. It seems the Cake is simply a lure to get the test subjects onto the track at the end, the incinerator is for every test subject who manages to complete all 19 chambers, not just Chell, she is the only one to make it that far.

When GlaDOS tried to cook Chell there was a constant supply of test subjects for her to use, however the destruction of GlaDOS a short time later shutdown the life support and killed them all, the only reason Chell survived into Portal 2 is because her life support chamber was hooked up to the emergancy power by Ratman. (See the comic for details)

What Lobster said. There were other test subjects during Portal 1. Doug only put Chell to the top of the list (and later saved her but couldn't save the other subjects) to be tested.

Also, GLaDOS was totally unhinged from the aggression sphere/morality sphere combo they had shoved into her brain.

also, it would cause problems when Chell found out that there ain't no cake.. sad story...
