why is hl2 cheaper the hl

ok here is what i don't get...and what i think the reason for these prices are...

Why are some game £22 and some £29?

i mean

commando3 is going to be £22

Half Life 2 is going to be £24

Black and white, medal of honourthey were £29

Does this mean that the £29 games are longer?

you see commandos3 i can see being only £22 because it won't have alot of levels but alot of strategy (spelling)

black and white was alot because it had skirmish, online long levels. and so did medal of honour.

hl2 is £24 but hl was £29 and hl2 is £24.

just wondering why the price for hl2 is cheaper.
