wierd audio in steam folder

It's music, is a better description. It isn't anything significant, (not the third test) it's music that plays in CZ multiplayer sometimes when a new map is loading up onto your machine.

It's in your CZ cache file. This person must have extracted files from it.

Over in your Steam HL valve\media folder are tunes that are marked "half-life01"-"half-life17", "prospero01"-"05", and some suspense cues. These are cues from the original game, except in a lower quality than from the original CD. each half-life tune signifies a track usually in the game. half-life01 is by default, track 2 on the HL CD ("Adrenaline Horror").

And no, you cannot replace them. Tried doing that once and kinda broke that tune for a bit. simply deleted it and restarted so it could make a new one.
