Ive always been confused as how to correctly incorporate the env_cubemap entities into the game. I do understand how to correctly place them in hammer. However, what i do not understand is that before i place the env_cubemaps in hammer, should i compile the map in question and then run "buildcubemaps" in hl2 and then place them in hammer? Because when i place them in hammer first, and then run "buildcubemaps" in hl2, the game crashes to the desktop. Any help would be appreciated.
