Will this affect the single and mulitplayer games?

Could someone tell me if, when i open the development kit and mess about with the models, does this affect the main game, deathmatch and cs-s?

If so could you please tell me how to rectify this

I am sure that it will affect multi-player. though, single-player wont be affected.
