Windows Problem or me?

Well, I still cant play a normal game without it being very choppy and I never had this problem before.....Im wondering if maybe service pack 2 might have anything to do with this...and if so, how do i uninstall or reinstall it, It wont let me and says i already have it....

Did you make sure to:

1) Install your motherboard drivers.?
2) Install your videocard drivers?
3) Install any soundcard drivers?
4) Adjust their respective options to what you were at before?

I am guessing it is #1 & 2.

I just tried all my setting the lowest they can go and its the same...i dont get it

Check for spyware and use msconfig to clear out unnecessary startup programs.

Do you know how to get into Add/Remove Hardware?

Follow the options in there and you'll be able to see what drivers etc are installed.

See what you installed since you last played the game bug free.

I have same pc specs as him except 1 gb ram and my game is all choppy untill i installed service pack 2.
