I cant access steam from my limited account, the adminstrator account can start steam and use it but i cant. He tryed to install it via my account my typing in the admin password but it still didnt work to actually USE steam. So is there a way to give me rights to use the program without being admin? The admin (my dad) wants to give me the rights to use the program but he doesnt know how without having to log on for me every time.

Can anyone help?

I googled this, and apparently either your dad has to make your account an admin account, or a "power user". Which can be done through the Control Panel, apparently.

I thought it was Norton Firewall that was doing this to ya, But then again you were a different person back then. A person named Freeman.

Anyways:
If my memories serve me right: I think the only way to use XP fully is to have an administrator rights, which only your Dad can give you the authority. You don’t have (However) Power-User option in XP Home.
Star, Control Panel, Double-click Users Accounts. When user accounts dialog shows up, click on “Change an account” Click-select which account you would like to change and click “Change my account type” There, you can change account rights and passwords and names and even pictures. Remember you have to have administrator rights to do this which only your Dad has at this point in time, so everything whinnies down back to what I had told you in the beginning; That this is something none of us can help you with except your Dad.

Good Luck.
