Hey.

Just thought I'd post about my HL2DM map.
I've already completed the first beta, which you can get here:

I'm now working on the next version of it, here's a list of whats new in the next version :

Errors I've fixed are:

- Lines in the skybox.
- Missing texture under the cars.
- Grass sprites in the skybox
- Wheelbarrow shader
- Ceiling of the house.
- The huge shadow by the farmhouse.
- Couple of smaller errors

Improvements:

- Covered up all the visible displacement map seams.
- Tripled the amount of terrain in the 3d skybox.
- Changed some of the props and amount of them in the kitchen
- Added ceiling supports and reduced the room size in the farmhouse.
- Added slightly more detail to the farmhouse.
- Some more trees.
- Working gas canisters.

(Just looked at the screens, haven't downloaded the beta)

The barn interior looks quite cool. Make the wooden pieces in the ramp thicker - it looks very flimsy like it couldn't support the weight of someone running up it. Also add env_sprite glows to the lights in the barn.

In places the fence props intersect with the displacement terrain. This would be ok if the displacements used a sand texture, as it'd be logical that the sand has been blown by the wind. But it looks wrong to me to have the fence clipping through grass & soil. Maybe move the fence proprs up a bit and added some concrete brushes below them.

Adding a 3D skycube would help a lot.
 
Looks good so far...i'd recommend scaling down the 3d skybox grass texture though, it stands out a bit-remember everything is scaled differently in skyboxes
 
Haven't played it, but it really does look like a fun map.

The pretty-ness of the map is good, it really feels... "nice".

The bright green grass and colorful buildings really give it a theme.

It looks very fun gameplay wise aswell! Plenty of cover in the outside areas, and you can go inside the buildings: that is a big plus.

Very nice work. (Be happy you got a good review from me, I am usually a hard rater ;) :p)
