I have money to get HL2 and I wanted to get it yesterday but guess what? My parents said no. They just don't understand that to get this game isn't a problem for me, but I want to support Valve and actually buy it instead of burning, dling, etc...

Right now I'm really pissed off since I was planning to play this game the day it came out for a year and a half now. My parents let me get any game but Half-life 2 for some reason... But, it's my money though so I don't understand why I need their permission to buy a game with money I earned, I mean wtf do they think I own the money for? So I can ask "Can I buy this game?" instead of "Can you buy me this game?"? That's pretty retarded no?

Buy HL2, some spanish audio tapes, and get a pair of headphones. Then tell them that you are learning spanish with audio tapes and you need quiet up in your room. They might just leave your alone long enough to finish HL2, but you might have to fake some spanish for them....

Sounds like your parents are spying on you.... You might want to install a key logger. Have you tried black mailing your parents against each other? That always worked for me... They always have dirt they don't want the other to know about and think the kids are too young to know. Dad got some new golf clubs or fishing pole? Mom hiding the credit card bill? Threatening to call CPS might work too, but it could backfire if you actually call them. Be creative.... Damn I was a sick kid.
